The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) are one of the UK’s two new financial regulators, working alongside the Prudential Regulation Authority. Together they replaced the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in 2013.

The FCA regulates most firms and individuals that advise on, sell and arrange financial products and services. These include banking and savings accounts, loans and credit arrangements, investment products, mortgages, insurance and pension schemes. Their job is to protect consumers and make sure all consumers have access to financial services products that meet their needs, from firms they can trust.

The advice that Wise Monkey Financial Coaching gives to our clients is generic and intended to improve their knowledge and understanding of financial matters, help them build profound and inspiring life plans, challenge and help them shift unhelpful money attitudes and habits and ultimately use money effectively so that they can live a life that fulfils their highest aspirations. We won't make any recommendations or pass opinion relating to the sale, purchase or alteration of any financial product you own or plan to buy, including credit and debt arrangements.

Our service is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). If you need regulated financial advice, we will help you understand the different types of financial advice available, including any free advice agencies, and direct you to websites where you can search for a regulated adviser who can help.
